Proposed Services

Use of CostX measurement tools to extract quantities.

Unit rates applied from built in rate library or create own library to estimate cost

Agreed upon BOQ output used as contract work packages to relevant contractors

1.Take off Qtys in Software

Quantities are easily taken off from PDF or DWG drawings and linked to a workbook breakdown

2.Link Qtys to BOQ / Estimate

Linked quantities are split per trade in the workbook and can be exported per trade to create work packages and tender packages

3.Add rates to create Budget

SPONS library is installed in the software so as to link rates to the boq qtys and easily kick out a budget figure in a standard format

CostX Interface

Rate Library and Functionality

SPONS rate library already added to software for pricing purposes

Each rate has a breakdown function which shows you how the rate is built up and so editing of certain portions of the rate is made easy

In some instances, the average output per trade is inserted into the rate breakdown. This can be used for construction programming.

New rate libraries can be formulated manually using contractor priced tenders and historical data

Reports and Exports

There are various types of exports that are possible from a CostX Project

BOQ / Estimate workbook can be exported to Excel with description, quantity, rate and amount column in a standard format

Workbook quantities and rates are both live within the software allowing ease of editing and value engineering.

There are many other types of report exports that enable management post contract

Measurement markup export

It is possible to export measurement markups that could be used for an array of applications

Resolve disputes between QS and Contractor or Contractor and Subcontractor
Collaboration on measurement methodologies
Backup to claims or Qtys in general

This markup shows dimensions in a key and coloured lines that represent how the dimension was measured
