Project Value: VPA2Y works with TSL on projects ranging in value, up to £2.8m.

Services Provided: VPA2Y manages the entire tendering process, including opportunity management, portal management, client liaison, and tender documentation review.
VPA2Y also provides Post-Contract Administration Services to include contract scope reviews, variation management, cost reconciliation, and subcontract administration. 

Key Clients: VPA2Y regularly engage with notable clients on behalf of Three Shires such as BBV, LMJV, Costain, Volker Fitzpatrick, PJ Hegarty, among others.

Overview: ATV Contract Services are a leading UK landscape and countryside management contractor with approximately 30 employees.

Partnership Duration: 4 years

Services Provided: VPA2Y provides ATV with flexible, adhoc QS support, including take-offs, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) production, tendering support, client liaison, and estimating. 

Key Clients: VPA2Y regularly engage with a diverse range of clients on behalf of ATV, including Severn Trent and EWRA. 

Stonewest Ltd

Overview: Stonewest Ltd are an International, Award-winning Principal & Specialist Contractor, with a turnover of approximately £15 million.

Partnership Duration: VPA2Y have been working with Stonewest Ltd since May 2023

Services Provided: VPA2Y provide a range of services to Stonewest on a monthly basis, including: 

•      Monthly applications based on work complete and contest any variables 
•      Managing variation works and raising accordingly
•      Issuing EWs through correct channels following JCT contract regulations 
•      Attending commercial meetings on behalf of SWL
•      Managing subcontractor orders, payment notices & internal PIDs
•      Produce projected internal Cash Flow forecasts and CVRs
•      Liaising with Project/Site/Senior managers on all commercial aspects of the project 
•      Produce relevant documentation and commercial build ups to substantiate extensions of time and Loss and/or expense accounts. 
•      Assist SWL with any other aspects of their business when needed. Eg Tendering for potential projects.

Key Projects: Some of the notable projects that VPA2Y collaborates with Stonewest on include Manchester Town Hall and St Peters Sq/ Lendlease. 

Damen

Overview: Damen Group is a defence, shipbuilding, and engineering conglomerate company based in the Netherlands with an annual turnover of approximately £4 billion. 

Partnership Duration: VPA2Y Director Luke Hankins provided Quantity Surveying services to Damen on their Sunrise Windfarm OSS Project between June 2022 and December 2023. 

Services Provided: VPA2Y provided QS services under an FIDic Contract to include:

•      Cost Estimation
•      Claim preparation and submission
•      Review and Preparation of Tender Return Documents including BOQ’s and supporting information
•      Review and Preparation of Contract Documents including terms and conditions, payment mechanisms, and any special conditions.
•      Developing and managing project budgets, tracking costs throughout the construction phase and implementing control measures
•      Measure and value the work performed by the contractor according to the contract terms and conditions, including Asbuilts.
•      Prepare interim payment applications based on completed work for submission to the Engineer for certification.
•      Variation and change management including processing variation order requests (VOR) and assessing their impact on the project
•      Assisting in preparation of final accounts and participation in negotiations related to the final settlement of accounts.
•      Involvement in project risk assessment and development of risk management/mitigation strategies to ensure the financial success of the project.
•      Maintaining accurate and detailed records related to project costs, including measurement books, valuation records, and correspondence.
•      Production of regular reports for the project team and management on cost-related matters.

Overview: Damen Group is a defence, shipbuilding, and engineering conglomerate company based in the Netherlands with an annual turnover of approximately £4 billion. 

Partnership Duration: October 2023-ongoing

Services Provided: FIDic Contract Management and QS Support through a range of services such as: 

•      Contract Administration duties such as overseeing contractual processes, ensuring compliance with contract terms, and the maintenance of records
•      Facilitating communication and coordination between contractor and client
•      Variation and change management including processing variation order requests and assessing their impact on the project
•      Assessing claims submitted by the contractor, facilitating discussions between the parties to work towards a resolution
•      Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and aiding in quality assurance processes.
•      Overseeing the payment process and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in order before payments are made
•      Early dispute resolution (negotiation, mediation, or communication with legal advisors)
•      Project closeout duties such as finalising accounts, completing documentation, and ensuring that all contractual obligations are met
